Wincey Willis

Wincey Willis (born Florence Winsome Dymmock, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, 8 August 1948) is a British broadcaster who found television success in the 1980s.
Willis's first job as a radio presenter was working with Les Ross on a successful Saturday morning programme at Radio Tees. She became famous as a weather presenter on TV-am, before adjudicating on the game show ''Treasure Hunt'', and appeared as a TV presenter in the 1988 film ''Consuming Passions''. She is now a writer, public speaker and conservationist and has presented a weekly show on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire. Willis has also presented with BBC Hereford and Worcester.
Although well known for her TV-am weather forecasts she is most proud of her work as a writer and as presenter of television programmes about animals, notably ''Animal Watch'' on TV-am and the Granada TV series ''Wincey's Pets''. She appeared on BBC ''Celebrity Eggheads'' on 12 December 2011.
She currently lives in Hereford, England.
